Our Qualifications

Steve on phone-Qualifications Stephen M. Gross has been involved in finance and investments for more than 35 years. Before beginning his own investment advisory firm in October 1991, he was an asset manager at Laidlaw Holdings, a New York-based money management firm, and served as vice president and investment executive at Oppenheimer and Company. He began his Investment career with Paine Webber.
Earlier in his professional life, Mr. Gross worked as a research economist with the Commonwealth of Virginia and later with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. He served as vice president and chief economist for the Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange and assistant director of economic research for the Securities Industry Association.

Mr. Gross is a Registered Investment Advisor and Certified Financial PlannerĀ®. He earned a BA and an MBA in finance from New York University and an MA in economics from the University of Virginia. He is an instructor in the Certified Financial Planning program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and an adjunct instructor of finance at Ramapo College of New Jersey. In addition, Mr. Gross is an FINRA arbitrator.
